Terms of Service
Effective August 2026
By using Wagevine you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English — read them carefully. If anything is unclear, message us in the app; we'll explain.
Who we are
Wagevine LLC is a Missouri limited liability company registered as an earned wage access (EWA) provider. We're currently available only to Missouri residents. We are not a bank, not a lender, and not a credit-reporting agency.
What Wagevine does
We let you access a small portion of pay you've already earned — up to $200 — a few days before your regular payday. On your next payday, we pull the same amount back from your linked bank account. Nothing more.
Fees you can pay us
The standard transfer (1–3 business days) is always free and always available. If you want your money in about 5 minutes to your debit card, you can subscribe to Wagevine Membership for $5.99 per month and pay a per-transfer fee ($7.99, $9.99, or $12.99 depending on amount) shown before you send. Membership can be canceled in one tap, at any time, even with an open advance.
What we never charge
No interest. No late fees. No returned-payment fees. No tips. We don't accept optional payments of any kind. If a repayment bounces, we'll try one more time in a few business days — never more than twice total, and never with a fee.
How repayment works
On your payday, we automatically pull the advance principal from your linked bank via ACH. The amount doesn't change from what you borrowed. If your balance is under $20, we skip the pull and try again later. You can also pay early at any time — no fee, no discount, and it unlocks new advances sooner.
Your bank connection
We use Plaid to connect to your bank read-only. We can see your balance and transactions so we know when you get paid; we cannot move money without your explicit consent for each advance. Your bank login is never shared with us — Plaid handles it.
Eligibility and limits
Your advance limit is based on your deposit history and pay schedule — never a credit check, never a credit-report pull. Every approval or decline decision is recorded and retained for regulatory audit. If you disagree with a decision, message us.
Closing your account
You can close your account in one tap from More → Close my account. Any open advance still collects on its scheduled payday — terms and repayment date do not change. Your account history is retained as required by Missouri and federal law, but you cannot sign in again with the same number.
Disputes
If you have a complaint, contact us first — help@wagevine.com or (417) 555-0142. Most issues get resolved within a few business days. If we can't work it out, disputes go to arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act; you may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first opening the app by emailing us. Neither party waives the right to seek relief in small-claims court.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms — if we do, we'll notify you in the app before the change takes effect and you'll have the chance to read the new version and decide whether to keep using Wagevine.
